did. The powerful post presence proved to be one of the dominant interior forces of the event, showing a blend of size, strength, and efficient finishing that made him a handful for any defender.
Wagner brought an old-school toughness to the block, carving out space, sealing defenders, and finishing through contact with ease. His ability to use both hands—particularly finishing with his left—made him unpredictable and nearly impossible to stop once he got inside position. Spin moves, drop-steps, and physical baseline attacks showcased his footwork, while his relentlessness on the glass ensured second-chance opportunities all game long.
What stood out beyond his scoring power was his willingness to share the ball. Tanner showed great vision for a big man, delivering kickouts to shooters, making smart reads out of the post, and even leading the break off defensive rebounds. That combination of strength and unselfishness elevated his impact.
Add in Wagner’s ability to roll effectively out of ball screens, draw fouls, and run the floor, and Wagner established himself as a beast on the block and one of the most effective low-post players in the gym. His physicality and all-around presence cemented his place as one of the sensational performers of the camp.

Strong and physical big man that can play inside or out. His inside game is so smooth and patient, Tanner makes great reads from the post with the ball in hand. Unselfish player with a great IQ for the game.

Wagner is having a really good early offseason with Sanford Sports Academy SF 15U Black. He is his normal dominant interior force self, but his decision-making as a passer when extra defensive bodies are thrown at him was a new thing I noticed. He doesn’t really do anything flashy, he just has solid overall size, strength, a motor, and an attacking playstyle.
