is an intriguing prospect for Marion High School of 2A Region 7, a school that seems to breed 6’4″-6’6″ Forwards. Lathon does a little bit of everything for the Swamp Foxes and should step into a bigger role this season after averaging 4.1 Points Per Game and 3.7 Rebounds Per Game in 2023-24. He can finish around the paint, pull up off the dribble, and create for teammates on the offensive end. On the defensive end, his length is a factor in effecting jump shots and forcing turnovers. He has a good feel for jumping passing lanes and he likes to get out and put on a show in the open floor. Lathon holds an offer from Dean College.

Lathon is a long and rangy forward with guard skills. Tahj likes to handle the rock at times up the floor for the Swamp Foxes. He brings good versatility to the floor with his ability to score inside-out at times. Tahj runs the floor very well and finishes in transition. He will stroke the mid-range jumper. Lathon plays extremely active on both ends of the floor with his play.
Lathon and the Swamp Foxes will battle in the same region with Atlantic Collegiate Academy and Manning HS this season.

Tahj is Legette’s teammate for club and school, but he is a very talented wing in his own right. He is unique in his combination of length and ability to create off the dribble. He is very effective both as a scorer and a passer with the ball in his hands and will even be used as a primary ball handler at times. He also has a knack for getting into passing lanes and tallied 2 Steals in the matchup with MHE. Lathon has good mechanics on his jump shot and is confident from the mid-range and behind the arc, adding to his versatility on the floor.

Tahj is a rangy small forward who really can stretch the defense at times with his ability to stroke the perimeter jumper. He excels in the transition game as a rim-runner on the floor. Lathon will challenge shots on the defensive end and protect rim when needed.

Tahj feels very comfortable playing out on the wing and knocking perimeter jumpers. Lathon is a long and rangy athlete who plays active in the passing lanes.
Tahj is an ideal rim runner type player with his ability to cover a lot of ground from end to end on the floor. He will look to get the Swamp Foxes over the hump this season and make some noise in the Pee Dee.
