Hawkins is also a capable perimeter shooter who can knock down open shots and keep defenses honest. His combination of skill, decision making, playmaking ability, and scoring versatility makes him a rising prospect whose stock continues to trend upward in the 2027 recruiting class.

Tabren Hawkins is a point guard playing for Team Loaded 757. His biggest strengths are his composure and ball-handling. In the championship game, he was pressed nearly the entire game. He navigated the ball pressure traps and everything else with precision. He can control the tempo, pass, and score for himself. Low-turnover, high-feel players like this are extremely valuable for winning programs.

Hawkins looked comfortable handling lead guard responsibilities while also showing the ability to score efficiently. He played with good pace, made smart decisions, and seemed to understand exactly when to attack and when to facilitate.

His combination of strength and skill stood out. He consistently got to spots on the floor and impacted the game on both ends. Players who can bring production while keeping their teams organized are always valuable, and Hawkins did exactly that.  

Tabren Hawkins proved to be one of the more dangerous scoring guards at the event. An elite shooter with deep range, Hawkins has the ability to change a game quickly if he gets going.

He does a great job creating his own shot and attacking downhill, finishing well around the rim even through contact. But what separates him is his perimeter shooting — he’s capable of heating up fast and stretching defenses.

Even with Team Loaded Gold focusing defensively on Hawkins, he still displayed his scoring ability. He also demonstrated his overall impact. Combine that with his defensive effort, and it’s easy to see the value he brings.

He’s the type of player who can fit into a lot of college systems and make an immediate impact.

Hawkins is a high academic prospect who averaged nearly 10 points per game this season. He has a strong feel for the game, reads and uses ball screens effectively, and consistently makes sound decisions. A solid perimeter shot maker, he also shows creativity as a finisher in the paint, giving him versatility as an offensive contributor.

Tabren Hawkins is one of the most complete scoring guards in the 757. Somehow, he still doesn’t get talked about enough.

He’s an elite three-level scorer who shoots the ball at a high percentage and can hurt defenses in multiple ways. Whether it’s catch-and-shoot threes, pull-ups off the bounce, or attacking downhill, Hawkins plays with confidence and control.

His handle is tight, and he changes pace well to create separation. What makes him even more valuable is that he’s not just a scorer. The summer circuit should be a prime opportunity for Hawkins to elevate his profile. If he carries his high school production into AAU play, expect his recruitment to gain serious traction.

Hawkins is averaging 11 points per game for one of the state’s top teams this season, providing steady backcourt production. One of the top guards on my board following the performance Tabren put on Sunday afternoon. He was unstoppable scoring the basketball and made the game look easy as it continued on. Ran the point guard position well and also played off the ball effectively. Tabren stepped out and knocked down a multitude of three-pointers through the course of the game. Had a couple of nice pullup threes to add to his highlight-filled game. Tabren’s shifty handle allowed him to get off almost any shot he wanted over the course of the game. Got to the line and the basket just as effectively as he shot the ball. Played both sides of the ball well, igniting fastbreaks all game thanks to his heady defense.
