Simons flashed some of his talents following his transfer across the river from United Township (IL) but appeared in just 11 games as he dealt with some injury issues. He has some serious length and athleticism in the backcourt, which he uses to his advantage well. He can impact the game defensively with those attributes, contesting shots and getting into passing lanes, and he covers a lot of ground in a short amount of time with his long strides. He sees the floor well and is a creative, talented passer. He averaged 6.6 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 2.6 assists in his 11 games with the Knights last season and should make a bigger impact as a senior.
