is a versatile big with legit size and emerging skill. He can stretch the floor, put the ball on the deck, and defend multiple spots. At 6’11”, his mobility and offensive creativity make him a matchup problem. As he continues to mature physically, his stock should rise quickly.

Strake is a towering center that is a handful to deal with in the paint for his opponents. He’s a fantastic rim protector and he was the largest player of the day by far. He uses his size to his advantage and is able to block or alter the shots of his opponents from a shocking distance with his impressive reach. He has long strides and can get to the bucket from beyond the arc with a dribble and a couple steps. He eats boards on both ends every opportunity he gets and he can lay it in with ease no matter who his defender is. To top off his skill set, Pearson is an excellent passer and quickly recognizes his cutters and puts them in position to be successful. I imagine a ton of eyes will be on Strake in his Senior campaign and they’re well deserved.

Dominant post presence offensively and defensively completely controlling the outcome of what happened in the paint often dictating the flow of the game around the basket. Offensively, Pearson used his size, strength, and footwork to overpower defenders, establishing deep position in the post to score efficiently. Whether backing down opponents, beating them his first step, or using a variety of post moves like hooks, drop steps, and up-and-unders, Pearson consistently created high-percentage looks at the rim himself. His ability force defenses to collapse, opened up passing lanes for shooters and cutters. Defensively, Strake protected the rim with presence and positioning, altering shot attempts and making it nearly impossible for opponents to get look inside. Dominant on the boards, securing defensive rebounds and preventing second-chance opportunities while also being an anchor in help defense, rotating to shut down drives. His control over the paint effectively changed the strategy of opposing teams, intimidating anyone from attempting to challenge him near the basket.

stood out as a 7-footer stretch big, displaying a consistent ability to hit spot-up three-pointers from various locations behind the arc. His movement without the ball was surprising and highly impressive, as he wasn’t just a down low post up player. Pesrson’s showed a knack for finding open spaces on the floor, creating scoring opportunities for himself from deep. This combination of size, shooting, and off-ball spacing is what set him apart and made him a versatile offensive threat.
