About Soren

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

A stretch 4 who can shoot the 3 at a high percentage, elite defender who can guard 1-5, athletic, can run the floor.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Mentally tough, persistent and determined, outgoing, have a lot of friends on and off the court. Like connecting and meeting new people.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I participated in Koins for Kenya in April 2024 by helping to raise over $100k. Was fortunate to be able to travel to Africa and help a village build a new school, restrooms, desks and water supply and present academic scholarships to some of the local kids, with the money we raised. While there I was also able to run basketball clinics for the local kids to teach them skills.It was life changing.

Ries had a lot of promise coming into high school and now he is entering his senior season and he is starting to really ply the part of that do it all 4-man. Ries is just scratching the surface and that could really bring more suitors his way. Ries can shoot and play in that mid-post area and step out and hit the long ball. That is style of play a lot of teams are looking for in the 4 and 5 spots at the D1 level. He has a shot.
