He has really good range and plays with plenty of confidence. Once he knocks down a few from deep, his entire game opens up and Reason becomes a real problem for opposing defenses. He has a great first step, and once he gets beyond the initial defender, he draws a lot of fouls from the helpside and scores a bunch from the free throw line. One of the things I like most about Reason’s game is that he doesn’t force shots. All his scoring comes from what the defense allows. He also plays with the kind of aggression needed from a featured scorer. He doesn’t shy away from physicality. I really like Reason in the transition game. He has the quickness to get ahead of a retreating defense, and his willingness to attack contact makes him dangerous when the floor opens up.

He plays with the kind of edge you want from a top perimeter player. He’s comfortable spacing the floor and punishing late closeouts with confident deep shooting, but he’s not a one-dimensional player. When defenders overplay his range, he puts it on the floor, attacks the paint, and seeks contact to get to the foul line. He also fits in the flow of an offense, moving the ball and making the simple read instead of hunting tough looks, while still having the mentality to take big shots. Defensively, he’s disruptive and competitive on the ball and plays with the kind of energy that lifts his team.

Reason leaves his mark on the game as a perimeter shot-maker he isn’t afraid to hoist shots up from deep. He is effective moving the ball in the flow of the offense. Reason is very agile on his feet. I would like to see him improve on how he handles the ball when going against pressure. Reason showed he can thunder his way to the cup on the attack and seeks out contact. He needs to sit on ball fakes more when he is guarding on defense. Reason needs to play off two when on the attack.
