Fresh off of winning a Class 3A State Championship with Cathedral High School, Rodgers came to the stage and played well for D1 Indiana P32 17u. The athletic, left-handed guard made several catch-and-shoot three-point shots over the course of the weekend, finished consistently in transition, and caused some havoc on the defensive end of the floor. He will be one for small college programs to follow this spring and summer.

It was a very balanced effort for the Irish on their way to winning the Class 3A State Championship and a guy that stepped up in a major way was junior guard Skylar Rodgers Skylar Rodgers 6'0" | SG Cathedral | 2027 IN . He finished with 12 points, 3 rebounds, and 3 assists on the night being the one of four Cathedral players to score in double figures. He was a shifty players on the offensive end and played some high energy defense, as well. A key to why Cathedral cut down the net son Saturday.

An aggressive left-handed driver with shifty handles and a quick burst off of the bounce, this Cathedral High School product had a strong showing at our event on Sunday. Rodgers creates for himself consistently on the perimeter and has the playmaking ability to dish to his open teammates when drawing the help defense. He was very comfortable with the ball in the open floor and helped to run the show for his team at the Prep Hoops Indiana Freshman Showcase.
