Shawn Turner Shawn Turner 6'2" | CG Cave Spring | 2026 State VA was a fun watch for Cave Spring. He is a twitchy athlete, and Lord Botetourt couldn’t stop him from getting to the rim. Shawn did most of his work putting his head down and blowing by defenders and using a bunch of crafty moves to get easy buckets on a small Lord Botetourt squad lacking rim protection. He also had a few nice cuts and hit a couple of threes early. A very good showing in an overtime Cave Spring’s win.

Turner is a quick, athletic guard who is comfortable playing both on and off the ball. He consistently creates advantages off the dribble, getting past defenders and finishing effectively in the paint, while also showing the ability to knock down shots from beyond the arc. The senior brings an active defensive presence, applying pressure on the ball and anticipating well in passing lanes, and should be a strong fit for a small-college program at the next level.
