Leist has grown a couple inches and put on some good weight since I last saw him at the Pumas fall league a year ago. Leist had a strong second half performance in his teams early morning victory and used his frame to shield away from the defense on drives. Leist looks like an impact player for New Hope Christian to build with over the next three seasons. 

Leist caught my eye as a new name from central Ohio as the New Hope Christian Academy guard made shots, has a strong frame and had nice footwork in the paint. That combination made him stand out for his team and should allow Leist the opportunity to make a name for himself this winter with New Hope Christian Academy.
