Laraiva made a little bit of a homecoming in this game having played at Westfield last season before transferring to Pendleton Heights for his senior year. The return was not the best for Laravia as he struggled to really get any true offense going. The times I have seen Laravia, he is usually as his best when he can bang down low and use his size to score through contact. As the season goes on, he will be a solid post option for Pendleton Heights.

LaRavia is a skilled 6’6″ forward that stretches the floor out beyond the three-point arc. He is a constant pick-and-pop threat while also possessing the size and strength to finish around the basket. After playing his first three seasons at Westfield High School, LaRavia will be at Pendleton Heights for his senior year. His ability to face-up and score from the perimeter makes him a unique front court prospect that should continue to attract small college interest this winter for the Arabians.

Looking comfortable playing in his hometown, LaRavia showed off his diverse skillset as a faceup forward who can attack off the bounce and stretch the defense. A crafty player in the paint, LaRavia had a spin pivot into a hook shot then a pump fake step through bank shot in succession from the left block. With his size and weight, it’s tough to move LaRavia around in the paint. Really impressed with his overall skillset, a priority recruit for small college programs.

Reps317 ‘ last=”] 2024 went 3-1 on the weekend in large part due to excellent play from this 6’5″ forward. Laravia averaged 15 points and 8 rebounds showcasing his skill level around the basket while also stretching the floor. He should continue to get onto the radar of some college programs as the spring and summer goes on.

LaRavia is a versatile forward that has the size and strength to bang around inside mixed with the skill level to step away from the basket and stretch the floor out beyond the three-point arc. In fact, he might be at his best as a pick-and-pop 4-man as seen by making 41.9% of his 3’s during the high school season. Talented 6’5″ forward for college coaches to get an eye on this spring with Reps317 ‘ last=”].
