Logged quality minutes as a Freshman on the Varsity. He was a Top 60 Game participant. A solid point guard, bulked up a bit. He’s playing with confidence right now. He’s getting to the basket taking the bumps. He has an improving short jumper, expanded range for 3’s. He’s a good on ball defender, applies pressure full court, runs on the sides stays close, cuts off ball handlers.

Jones has grown a bit, and has added a reliable jump shot to his game. He knocked down a couple of 3-pointers, pulled up for mid-range jumpers. He has speed, quality handles, and can attack defenders off the dribble to get into the paint for assists, paint jumpers, and floaters. He has the footspeed to stick close to ball handler.

A speedy guard usually plays point. He shows his speed racing up court in transition. A quality ball handler, has court vision for ball movement, uses quick dribbles to attack, he seems more aggressive this season looking for his shot, squaring up for open 3’s, going hard to the basket. He defends hard, applies full court pressure, turns ball handlers.
