For a second straight season Dublin Jerome is one of the top teams in central Ohio and Stavroff has scored the ball efficiently in both contests I’ve caught this season of the Celtics. I’m impressed with Stavroff’s spot-up shooting ability and his ability to use one dribble pull-up jumpers after hard closeouts. A guy who knows how to put the ball in the basket, Stavroff is a great utility guard that has been the reason Dublin Jerome has won multiple games this season, he could be the x-factor for another playoff push.

Stavroff was money for the Celtics, knocking down a handful of 3-pointers en route to leading the game in scoring. Stavroff hit an and-1 3-pointer that was the highlight of the game in the second quarter that helped build some momentum for his team. A sniper from spot-up situations, Stavroff played well off dribble drive action from his teammates, being shot ready off the catch. This was my second Dublin Jerome game of the season and the second time Stavroff shot the lights out from long range.

His team might’ve lost but Stavroff surprised me more than any other player on Friday. Stavroff was efficient with his shots, knocking down jumpers off the catch and doing a good job of getting to the rim off curl screens and cuts off the ball. Stavroff finished around the rim off two feet and with either hand. I’ve seen Stavroff play a few times and there’s no doubt that Friday was his best performance. If he can keep this level of play up he will see his recruitment and ranking rise.
