How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
I would describe my gameplay as being solid. I love to shoot the 3 but have other aspects to my game like driving.
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
I would say my personality is pretty laid back and quiet most times. I do have a goofy side that loves to have fun with my friends.
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?
I am a member of BAASE at my high school. It is a group of males of color who have demonstrated positive academic identities and to engage them in meaningful/culturally relevant activities that will lead to future academic and social success as well as increased participation in AP, Honors, and IB programming.
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
A few times a year I go with my mother and do community service volunteering at our local food bank. I have learned teamwork with volunteering as well as being part of various teams in baseball, football, and basketball.
Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.
The significant challenge I have faced is having surgery on my legs 3 times with at least 1 more in the near future. After suffering a broken foot I started having pain in my leg. Come to find out one of my legs was more bowed than the other so surgery was done to put plates and screws in. I had to work on walking again and building the strength in my legs.
What type of college are you looking for?
I am looking for a college that will fit my academic needs as well as my basketball style.
