Santiago is a true big in a guard-filled game. His strength, size, and touch around the rim make him a matchup nightmare, especially in 4A. Although he likes to post up, he has a nice handle and enjoys scoring in the midrange. He has good hands and is always ready for the drop-off pass in the lane. He is the definition of a workhorse, which is evident on the defensive end and rebounding. He will be a force at Dysart.

Santiago showed why he is one of the top forwards in the 2026 class here in Arizona while leading Dysart to a 4-0 record. He is a versatile big man with very good footwork. Sets good strong screens and quick to roll but can pop out and knock down the three. Terrific paint defender, rebounder and had the mismatch advantage just about every time. Great floater and a skilled turn around jumper with terrific use of the glass with difficult shots. Already getting in state attention which I expect is just the start for this young man.

He showed all year that physical play didn’t bother him. Finishing the season with over 400 points, he consistently played through contact and gave his team a strong interior presence. Scored effectively with his back to the basket, rebounded well, and stretched the floor with both mid-range jumpers and some threes. His toughness and versatility stood out throughout the season.
