About Samuel

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

A freshman Varsity guard at Yukon High School, I bring an explosive, smooth, and athletic style of play. As an 8th grader, I averaged 30 points and 7 assists per game, leading my team to a conference championship. Recognized as a Prep Hoops Freshman Standout in Oklahoma , I'm known for my ability to score , create for teammates, and compete at a high level.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I'm a hard worker dedicated to improving every day, on and off the court. My Foundation is God first, then family, then basketball, which drives me to lead with character and relentless effort.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Office and library helper at School. Helping with youth camps, mentoring younger players , or volunteering locally to show character off the court.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Leadership- Learning to set the tone in practice, encouraging teammates, and leading by example on and off the court. Work Ethic and Discipline - Showing up early, staying late, and staying consistent in workouts, nutrition, and recovery. Staying humble, grounded, and giving credit to God and others while striving for greatness.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Everything in life is a challenge, but i can do all things.

What type of college are you looking for?

One that wants me to come help the program in anyway possible to help win a National Championship.

One of the most productive guards at the event. Has true electricity to his game. With tight handles and crossovers to leave defenders in the dust on drives. While also being equally adept at stepbacks from deep. The big thing about his attacking is he didn’t seem to force it or over dribble. Burnett often looked under control with drives and made scoring look easy. Like scoring is part of his DNA.
