The 2024-25 season will serve as the breakout stretch of play for this throwback style small forward who is a double double machine. West is an athletic, tenacious, and extremely physical prospect. That trifecta enabled West to dominate interior play at both ends of the floor this past season. He produced points via quick post moves as well as on dives to the rim and the offensive glass. His ability to power through contact in all these scenarios for an AND1 was impressive. Plus, West is a solid defender and a beast on the defensive glass. College coaches will also love West’s length, agility, speed, and quick second jump. In March during Sankofa’s defeat of [highschool_tooltip highschool_id=’2595623′ name=’Chester’] Charter in the 1A state quarterfinals, West posted a ridiculous stat line of 11 points and 22 rebounds.
