I’m fairly high on Uhing and I think he can be a breakout AA player next season for Sioux Falls Washington. I’ve written about him a few times already because he’s looking a little more explosive and athletic. He’s been really strong in transition and gets to the rim and foul line often. It would not surprise me if he was a 14-16 points per game scorer next season.

Uhing looked really good at Battle At The Lakes. I saw Impact Basketball ‘s Friday game on BallerTV and I also saw them live once more after that. He showed a dynamic offensive game I’ve never seen from him. He made defensive plays on the ball and got out in transition and finished at the hoop at a consistent rate. He looked fast and explosive when he got running up the court. His ball-handling looked very good and he can make threes and get hot from there. He’s not just a catch-and-shoot shooter, he can create his own three and midranger. He was just moved up the rankings prior to the event, but I think he’s made a case to climb even higher.

Sam turned in a nice performance in the 17U championship game on Sunday. He is a knockdown shooter from the perimeter, being a go-to option for teammates to kick out to. He was chasing down loose balls which led to easy scores on the other end for his team. Uhing and Impact 17U-1 finished the weekend 4-0 in Sioux Falls.
