About Sam

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a sharpshooter that can frequently pass the ball, I work well off ball both defensively and offensively and I make it a priority to talk and be as loud as possible on the court.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My mental personality is that I work all of the time. I pace myself to an extent that I know I put in enough work and I am always working

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I have done unity basketball and helped there to give back to my community

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I consider myself a leader, by motivating myself and teammates to be successful. I take proven creating teamwork in my team as well

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

My parents work very hard and it is challenging getting to workouts when they are away, I still prioritize my work before anything no matter what

What type of college are you looking for?

I am going d1 no matter what it takes

Newton, a freshman wing out of Longmeadow, has playmaking ability both with and without the basketball. He’s an instinctive cutter, knows how to move without the ball to get open, and can really knock down shots in catch and shoot situations. With the ball in his hands, he has the ability to get to the rim off the bounce, but also sees the floor well as a passer.
