I had a battle between Funches and Collin Ross circled on my calendar from the moment I saw the schedule drop and the match-up lived up to the hype. Funches does a nice job getting to his right shoulder where he can score using his left hand at the rim. Once he does that, Funches uses his elite passing ability to punish the defense for ever sending a double team his way. Defensively, Funches protected the rim without fouling and grabbed a bunch of defensive rebounds that finished stops for his team. My first time watching Funches in person and it was extremely obvious why he’s a high major target and regarded as one of the top bigs in the country.
