About Ryker

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a pass first guard that can dish out assists anytime. I am a pretty good shooter that can knock down shots anytime. I am a great ball handler and can control an offense.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I have a very open mindset, I'm very coachable, and joyful. I love the game of basketball, and love to pick my teammates up. I have a next play mentality.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I have high honors with a 3.9 GPA, I'm taking AP World History, along with all Duel credit classes. I am in Leo's club, which is a club that helps around our school and community.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have developed time management and leadership. I sometimes get down on myself but I pick my self up quick. I am a very respectful and honest person. I've learned to take the truth and work off it, not get discouraged.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I recently fractured my thumb and was out for 5 weeks. It was really hard on me because I kept getting down and worrying about my future. But I turned my trust to God and am coming back better then ever.

What type of college are you looking for?

I'm looking for a college that is dedicated to academics and basketball. I want a program that cares about there players and wants to develope them to the next level. I also want a school that has a very strong curriculum that can give me a degree that I can use in the real world. I want the program to believe in you about going to a D1 or going to the NBA or Overseas!
