A big-time shooter, Runser had some explosive scoring outbursts for Midview this season. A 31-point outing Vs Avon Lake might’ve been the senior snipers best performance of the season. I got to see Runser’s last high school game in a tough playoff defeat to Elyria but his shot-making and athleticism were on full display that game. A good athlete when he gets a running start, Runser also recently broke the school record for long jump on the track and field team for the Middies.

Runser was a standout for Midview as his high school career came to an end. I was impressed with his shooting ability from well beyond the 3-point line and his quick release. Runser is a solid athlete when he gets a head of steam attacking the rim and is dangerous off the catch when he’s letting it fly or attacking closeouts. Runser was one of the better players in the SWC this season and could be a solid small college guard.
