was consistently left open by the defense in RTX Hoops win on Saturday. Longoria showed the most efficiency when spotting up from the corner, but he did display accuracy from all areas beyond the arc on offense and his off-ball movement is very good and makes it difficult for the defense to keep up with him. He helps out with ballhandling under full court pressure, and he makes simple decisions that either involve taking open shots or moving the ball to the post.

is a wiry guard with a smooth touch on his jumper and a quick release to get shots up over closing out defenders. I was able to watch Ryan in a few of his games for RTX Hoops and he never hesitate to let the ball fly from deep when left the slightest bit of space. Ryans consistent off ball movement helps to create looks for himself and his teammates from three point land and he takes advantage of opposing players being careless with the ball on defense.

Longoria contributed as a complementary guard who played within team structure. He handled the ball when needed and kept possessions moving without overextending. His offensive impact came from making simple reads and capitalizing on open opportunities. Off the ball, he spaced effectively and stayed ready. Defensively, he competed and stayed connected to his matchup. Excellent motor.

Longoria may not jump off the page physically, but he’s a confident, cold-blooded shooter. He’s at his best moving without the ball, and he benefits from guards who see the floor and deliver on time. His catch-and-shoot game is a real weapon, and he’s not hesitant to let it fly. Longoria can also create off the dribble with a smooth pull-up. While quickness isn’t his strength defensively, his effort level is consistent and dependable. He rounds out a versatile and dangerous Hendrickson guard group.

Ryan was a standout at the Spurs City Shootout, bringing relentless energy and a tenacious defensive mindset to the court. On one pivotal possession, he picked up his man full-court and kept the pressure on all the way into the frontcourt, eventually forcing a 5-second violation from an overwhelmed ballhandler! That was just one example of Ryan’s impact on his RTX Hoops 16u squad, where he racked up charges, deflections, and steals like clockwork. His defensive presence was a constant game-changer, making him a key asset every time he stepped on the floor.
