Ryan Barrett
About Ryan
Expert Analysis
Robbie Hodin | Prep Hoops Scout
Though Barrett is undersized, I’m always impressed by his effort, skill, and feel for the game. The 5-foot-10 guard has good quickness off the bounce and the ball on a string, so he can handle pressure adequately and gets paint touches consistently. He makes shots from three, and he knows how to pass the ball. Most impressive is the senior’s willingness to fight for boards as an undersized guard—he makes multiple efforts and does all the right things. Barrett needs to get stronger if he wants to play college hoops, but the skill level is certainly up to par.
