About Ruben

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I’m a iq point guard reading my opinion as I go down the quart to make the right play . I’m a talkative guy on the court making sure all my teammates are involved . I talk on both sides of the court and I try to be a leader to my teammates . don’t argue over mistakes and I play hard leaving it all on the court .

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I take basketball seriously so I don’t enjoy when people mess around on the court . I’m mentally focused in the game and never give up even if we’re down . you can’t break my mentality with words or actions only I can break my character with how I play . but my personality off the court I’m not an angry guy i make jokes and focus on my future carrer

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

yes I am . I play for Vegas nation select and they’re a made hoops team . I have receive mvp for 15u last year and played in a nys all star game

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

If someone if messing up , off the court I tell them they need to do better for there future career and I do community service with my coach brad . Giving out to the homeless such as give away and fund raising .

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Yes , back then I lacked consistency but I’m glad I had the confidence to shake that off making me the player I want to be . I used to be nervous but now that’s the last thing I’m worried about .

What type of college are you looking for?

One that can help me build my character and grow . Helping my carrer but I also want to feel like a have family there . With good teammates and coaches . I want to feel the love of the game when I go to college I don’t want a player or coach breaking that for me . I need my character built while meeting family
