Thompson is another player who rarely turns down an opportunity to compete. He loves the game, and is always working to improve his skills. At 6-foot-5, Thompson has good size for a backcourt prospect. He is very comfortable with the ball in his hands and can make plays form himself and his teammates. Thompson recently committed to NCAA Division III Eau Claire and is a key returning piece for a Kettle Moraine program hoping to make its third straight trip to the WIAA Division 1 State Tournament.

Thompson was versatile on the offensive end of the ball. His size and skill allowed him to get to his spots. He was able to shoot over the top of guards a great deal. He used his opponent’s momentum against them when being guarded by bigger bodies. Team 3 was effective when playing through his mismatches.

Thompson is effective on the basketball court for many reasons, but the overriding factor in his success is his aggressive nature. Once he gets the ball on the wing or on the top of the key, he attacks. And he will do that to opponents all game. Attack, attack and then attack some more. And the results are usually positive. Thompson is able to use his 6-foot-5 frame, strength and jumping ability to finish over taller defenders or draw a foul. Thompson also can knock down perimeter shots, but he’s at his best when he attacks the basket.
