About Rokas

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

A high-motor, two-way prospect, I excel as a connector on both ends of the floor. Offensively, I'm a selfless play maker with a high basketball IQ, consistently making the extra pass and keeping the ball in rhythm while remaining a constant threat from deep and in the paint. Defensively I always keep pressure on the ball while also staying in help for my teammates.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I don't always walk on the court thinking I am going to score the most points, I always want to be the best on defense and help my teammates get easy buckets. Off the court I'm a pretty shy person, on the court you would not be able to tell who I am. I don't stop talking, I cheer for my teammates, keeping the energy up.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am in a club / organization called Lithuanica. I have received not-sport rewards for photography and arts.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I speak a lot when I'm on the court, especially while I'm on defense. I learned to move the ball and trust your teammates, also on defense trusting your teammates is really important because without trust, the other team will score way easier.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

My freshman year, I was out for half the season with an injury in my heel. During practices I would practice my shooting form and work on strengthening my heel.

What type of college are you looking for?

I'm looking for a college that trusts me when I'm on the court. I also want a college that is a good Defensive team. I want teammates that I can end up being friends with after college and coaches that I stay in touch with after college.
