Walson blazes with potential with his length and frame. Currently a 6’3″ F from St. Pats that stretches out in the perimeter and can take opponents 1v1. Underrated ball-handler, which is something that shouldn’t go unnoticed for a guy his age. On defense, he’s super active and really gets in your face. He was undoubtedly the most impactful player on his team while watching them on Saturday. 

Walson created some buzz on our group chat among scouts with his play at the event.  Like the size at 6’3” with a ton of projection to continue to grow.  Broad shoulders and a nice frame.  He was effective in transition as a finisher.  Crisp ball handler that also flashed with his shot making from three and had quickness on the offensive glass for second chance points.

Watched one of his early session games. A lengthy guard with a lot of natural athleticism already but has an even higher ceiling to look forward to. Can certainly guard the 3 and 4 locations as well defensively with quickness and wing span. Rebounded it getting the ball at its highest point utilizing his length. Does the same when finishing which makes him tough to guard at the rim. Positive verbal communicator to teammates talking on screens. Utilized multiple skill strengths to his advantage.
