An athletic guard, Bussey has had a fast start to his senior season for the Eagles. Dangerous in transition with the explosiveness to throw it down. Also a tough on-ball defender, Bussey fits the profile that a lot of small college programs look for. A high academic student, Bussey has set himself up to be recruited by a variety of programs. Lots of time Saint Edward has the depth where players have to wait till their senior year to play a major varsity role. That’s been the case with Bussey and he is making the most of his opportunity to play heavy minutes early in the season.

Saint Edward has a ton of senior depth and Bussy is one of their most athletic prospects. He got the bench hype when a steal led to a transition slam dunk. With his explosiveness Bussey also showed some pop in the open floor when he had the ball. Combine that with a couple hustle plays like a putback lefty layup and Bussey was one of the most productive players on the floor on Sunday.
