The Federal League has some sleeper prospects and Zerger has been a steady contributor to one of the top teams in the Akron/Canton area for two season now. I love how hard he plays and how productive he is at scoring in the paint. Contributing to winning at both ends of the floor, it’s no surprise that on the high school and grassroots level Zerger is a key piece to winning teams. Defensively I was impressed with how hard Zerger plays, in the high school game I caught he blocked a 3-pointer on a hard closeout and moves his feet when defending on the perimeter. Combine that with his basketball IQ to move without the ball and make himself available on the block and Zerger gets a bunch of easy buckets that are repeatable.
