Blundo was a perimeter threat and was constantly converting from deep he had a team high 24 points with 5 made three point field goals. He got downhill and was able to get to the foul line. Blundo also made unselfish plays to find his teammates. He provided great minutes and his play is key for New Castle’s success. Small-college programs who are in need of shooting need to give Blundo a serious eval.

Blundo is known for his ability to hit shots from behind the arc. He has no fear sacrificing his body for the good of the team. He is able to get to spots off of the dribble in the half-court. Blundo has very smooth textbook release on his shot. He isn’t the fastest but shows some ability to get to different spots on the floor off of the dribble.

Ralphie Blundo Ralphie Blundo 6'0" | SG New Castle | 2025 State PA boasts an exceptional basketball IQ and skill set. His toughness and physicality are immediately noticeable — he’s always willing to dive for loose balls or take a charge for his team. Offensively, Ralphie is very strong when driving the lane, finishing well through contact. His ability to score from beyond the arc makes him a constant threat that opponents must account for. He’s unselfish and always willing to make the extra pass. Defensively, Ralphie is solid and not afraid to mix it up with opponents. Expectations are high for Ralphie to have a huge senior season this year.

Ralphie Blundo Ralphie Blundo 6'0" | SG New Castle | 2025 State PA boasts a well-rounded game with a bunch of toughness and basketball intelligence. Blundo’s physical style of play sets the tone for his team and his commitment to winning. He is without a doubt one of the best shooters in Class 6A. That, combined with his ability to drive, makes him a challenging matchup. His decision-making on the court is exceptional. The statistics backup Blundo’s impact — he averaged 23 points per game last season for New Castle.

Ralphie Blundo Ralphie Blundo 6'0" | SG New Castle | 2025 State PA is the type of gritty guard that every coach would love to have on their team. The 6’0″ senior has been a standout this AAU season by simply doing all the little things to help his team win games. What immediately stands out is Blundo’s toughness and hustle. He plays with a nonstop motor, constantly diving on the floor for loose balls and sacrificing his body to take charges. He balances that physicality with a very high basketball IQ. Blundo rarely turns the ball over and makes excellent decisions with the ball. He has great court vision and is always willing to make the extra pass. On top of his unselfishness, Blundo provides a steady hand as a knock-down shooter. He has a smooth stroke with range extending beyond the three-point line.He has a strong frame to absorb contact around the rim and uses his body well to finish in the paint.

Ralphie Blundo has some of the best basketball IQ I’ve seen. He is super tough and physical, and is the quintessential team player. Ralphie is the type of player who isn’t afraid to take a charge or dive on the ground for a loose ball. Blundo’s offensive skills are impressive. He has a great shot fake which opens driving lanes and is strong enough to finish through contact at the rim. He is truly a physical player. That said, he is also an exceptional shooter. He has big-time range and when he locks in, it’s lights out. He should be getting DIII offers already, and if he keeps growing, I wouldn’t be surprised if DIIs start offering too.

Blundo is one of the most efficient scorers in the WPIAL, averaging 22.7 points per game on 51% shooting on two-point field goals and 40% on three-point field goals. He’s a big time shotmaker with deep range and is a strong creator off the dribble. Blundo can finish with either hand and has a great floater to finish over bigs inside. He takes good angles coming off screens and the catch-and-shoot ability will translate to the next level smoothly.
