About Raimon

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

A 3 level scorer. Big guard with length that can stretch the floor.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I have someone guarding me that is my size I use my speed. If they are smaller than me that I use my body and punish them on the post. I'm very quiet and reserved, respectful but on the court im passionate and driven.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

BSU club at school. Breakfast Club and a candidate for Royal Custodians humanitarian award.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Im a team captain on my basketball team. My coach demanded that I speak up more to enforce over communication. Im big on teamwork not just on the court but off the court during study halls. In regards to community service I also have speaking engagements with local middle schools to help inspire there future careers.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Yes, I have went through very personal traumatic situations losing very close family members that have helped shape me into the young man i am today. I transferred schools which was a complete culture shock as I felt racially profiled at my previous school and now experiencing more diversity, equity and inclusion.

What type of college are you looking for?

A college that will push me but also teach and develop me. I pride myself on being coachable, teachable and applicable. Applicable being the most important part because if im taught something and cannot apply it then it doesn't mean anything. Specifically I'm looking for position less basketball coaches who are able to utilize my skills and find a way to use me to be as effective as possible.
