Poured in the points for the Bobcats. Shifty off the bounce, with good touch on his floaters. Even muscling to the rim well for a smaller guard in traffic. Where his scoring really standouts is shooting off the dribble. Can put defenders on skates to get into the mid-range. And create to similar separation on three point attempts. Hope to see his selection/efficiency improve a bit, but scoring is clearly in his DNA.

Mitchell has a lot to his bag, but his ability to stretch the floor might be his best asset. Have seen him thrive as an off the ball shooter, but for the Bobcats his ability to be an one man offense will help them this upcoming season. Has great short area quickness and the handles to match. Can leave opponents guessing on if he’s going to the rim, or pulling up in front of their faces. Operates in the mid-range well to compliment his long range bombing abilities. With signs of electrifying ways to his game, Mitchell could be a box office player in the future.

The Bobcat was automatic when left open from the corner. It’s always a good sign when a smaller guard is willing to get off the ball and help with the spacing. Because often smaller guards from OKC are prone to over dribbling. It wasn’t the case with Mitchell who was a regular spot up threat, while taking efficient shots. To go along with the spot up ability, he did cook a bit off the dribble as well. But liked how his shooting felt in the flow of the offense. Very promising signs that Mitchell can be a big time scorer in the Class of 2028.

An intense, aggressive floor general whose vocal leadership set the tone from warmups to the final whistle. Mitchell played with passion and command, directing teammates and energizing the tempo. His handle was elite, quick, rhythmic, and unpredictable.
He used rapid-fire combo moves and a slick two-beat “bop-bop” cadence to keep defenders on their heels, constantly shifting gears and forcing reactions. Whether it was a nasty hesitation, a blow-by, or a sudden pull-up, Mitchell was constantly in control. His ability to break down defenders at the point of attack and make plays off the bounce made him one of the most dangerous creators on the floor.

Mitchell made his presence felt with relentless backcourt pressure, using a tenacious on-ball approach that disrupted rhythm and forced ball-handlers into tough decisions. He consistently kept the ball on one side of the floor, fought over screens with intensity, and forced initiators to operate out of their comfort zones. In pick-and-roll scenarios, he was dynamic, keeping the defense guessing with his ability to turn the corner, deliver sharp kick-outs, or find the roller in tight windows high or low. A true two-way backcourt presence.
