The defense must always be aware of where shooting guard Parker Dorsey Parker Dorsey Parker Dorsey 6'2" | SG/CG McKinney | 2027 TX is on the offensive side of the floor as his fast movement on offense allows him to capitalize on open looks and lazy defenders. Dorsey is almost a guaranteed shooter if he is left open in the corner and takes advantage of failed close outs almost every possession if he has a clean view of the net. He moves well off back door screens on cuts, sets on ball screens, and just has good court wherewithal to position himself for teammates to pass to him.

Dorsey was one of the most dangerous corner spacers in the gym. He was automatic off the catch from the deep corners and mastered the art of relocation, consistently repositioning himself off penetration or short rolls to stay shot-ready. Once he identified a soft spot in the defense, he exploited it possession after possession, extending the range and forcing closeouts that opened driving lanes for others.
