Donnelly has a strong, athletic frame which he used to cause some mismatch issues for the opposing defense. He was effective in transition, slashing to the basket in the half court, and displayed some versatility on the defensive end of the floor. The 6’3″ wing scored off of the throw ahead in transition when he could run the sideline and drive it right. He proved to be an effective offensive rebounder as well.
