Barnes is one of the best wings in the state that can score at all three levels. Has great size which can allow him to score both thru and over top defenders on drives. He is very comfortable on the perimeter shooting, especially off the catch. Always seems to play under control and get himself easy looks at shots. Highly efficient player scoring 16.9 ppg leading Danville this past season. Will be a critical summer for him to get exposure because he has the skill.

Barnes has had a really strong season thus far for the Admirals after a transfer from Boyle County. Leading the team in scoring at 18 per game and second in rebounding at 6 per game, Owen checks a lot of boxes for Coach McKinney’s squad. Danville has 4 players in double figures per game but doesn’t have much of a bench. Look for their game against Holy Cross to be high scoring.
