There were a lot of big-name freshmen who put up big-time numbers this season but Cox-Labomme’s season went a little bit under-the-radar for how good he was and how important he was to his team’s success. The 6-foot shooting guard/combo guard averaged 18.8 points, 5.7 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game in helping the Lancers to a 28-6 overall record and a CIF Southern Section Division 2 championship. Cox-Labomme shot 41 percent from the three-point line on 125 attempts and connected on 64 percent of his two-point field goals this season.
