About Oliver

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Oliver is a shifty guard with a quick first step, who can break ankles, and is a smooth finisher with either hand. He is an elite shooter from three and spreads the court. He is a heady player with sharp instincts and an unselfish mentality. He sees the floor exceptionally well and always looks to make the right play, whether that's hitting an open shooter or creating off the dribble.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Oliver is a leader who leads by example with his work ethic, composure, and hustle. He understands the importance of teamwork, knowing that great players make others around him better. He is a leader at his High School serving on student council and playing three sports (Basketball, Volleyball, and Track).

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Oliver is on Student Counsel at Edgewood High School, and works as an financial analyst at JEM Strategy (Consulting).

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Oliver is the 2nd of 6 siblings. He is often required to help with his younger siblings as a basketball trainer, mentor, role model, and babysitter. He is also a self-starter who independently gets his training and homework done.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Oliver has always faced challenges on the basketball court as he is a late July birthday and has always played against kids who are 6-18 months older than him. This has forced him to develop skills and play with a high basketball IQ. Now he is catching and passing the older kids physically, having grown 6 inches in the past year.

What type of college are you looking for?

Oliver is looking for a strong academic institution where he can also play college basketball.

Another outside shooting threat on Team 3 was Oliver Milesko Oliver Milesko Oliver Milesko 6'2" | CG/PG Edgewood | 2028 WI . At 6’2 he has enough length to play at the 2 or 3 spots, offering a bit of versatility on the defensive end. Throughout the game defenders had to closedown hard on him, as Oliver could make them pay for letting him catch in space. When a shot wasn’t there, he did a nice job of keeping the ball moving.
