Davis is proving to be one of NC’s most productive available seniors in what’s been a special season for him at Chapel Hill High School. In the Garner HoopState MLK showcase yesterday he was giving Leesville Road everything they could handle. He’s a versatile player with a great foundation of skill and physical gifts. He’s active on the glass and a true multi-positional defender. He’s helped Chapel Hill to a 2-1 start in conference play and an 11-5 record on the season while averaging 10 Points and 5 Rebounds. His ability to score from all three levels is obvious as well as he’s 50% from the floor and 39% from deep on the season. Davis should continue to garner scholarship level interest as the season progresses. A deep playoff run for Chapel Hill will certainly help that.

Davis had a really good weekend at HoopState Hoopsgiving and will probably get another shout out as that coverage drops this week but he’s just stacking up big performances and wins for his team at a really high level. Davis is a difference making athlete at the HS level and he has really toned up his frame allowing him to play and score through contact consistently. Davis can make shots from the outside, initiate offense, and then dominate smaller guards on the interior where just wears guys down. Chapel Hill has a really fun team this year and Davis is a huge reason why, all of the work he’s put in has lead to what should be a special senior season.

Standing at 6’5, he has good height for a Shooting Guard prospect at the next level. He has the ability to score the ball from multiple levels, plays the game with toughness, while also moving well without the ball to set himself up for easy offense.

Davis is another rising combo guard with size to get eyes on in the 2026 rankings out of Chapel Hill. He’s shown he can be a presence defending a number of positions, rebounding the ball and finishing around the rim in the Tigers rotation. He’s putting up 7.4 points, 5.5 rebounds and 1.9 assists per game with his squad out to a 2-0 start in the DAC 6. He’s a prospect for DII, DIII, NAIA and JUCO programs to get on their radar given his energy and activity on the floor.

Davis is a young prospect out of the 2026 class who showed off his budding game at the PH North Carolina Top 250 Expo. He stepped up as a presence in the frontcourt and on the wing while his guards led the charge. He showed he could battle on the boards, use his length to defend around the rim and showed he could knock down shots on the perimeter. He didn’t show his youth in doing things like helping on defense and defending bigger opponents with his length at 6-foot-2. He’ll be an intriguing name to track over the next few seasons at Chapel Hill High.

Davis was another relentless presence on the defensive end who showed off his defensive abilities on the day. He’s a young prospect in the 2026 class who showed he could defend all over the floor, on the perimeter and in the painted area. He didn’t back down from battling on the boards for the ball, either, utilizing his length at 6-foot-2 to make an impact. He’s a prospect out of Chapel Hill High to keep an eye on this season.
