Minnix is another in-state 2029 who caught my eye with his pure shooting ability. At 6’1″, Nicholas is not lacking for size at his age, which gives him an advantage when shooting on the perimeter. He moves very well off the ball to create space for others or easier looks for himself, but when he gets his feet set and hands ready, he is certainly the most efficient option on his squad. As he gets older and more comfortable physically, Minnix should be able to contribute more defensively and inside the paint, but he’s got a great foundation as a shooter to be a key piece for Focus On Progress down the line.
