Nicholas’ speed impresses every time I see him play. He’s one of those players who can take a defensive rebound or outlet pass, and even with defenders having a head start on him, be the first player to get up the floor and to the rim. If you allow him to get a little bit of space to get downhill in the half-court, good luck stopping him because he can get up to full speed in a hurry and is fearless attacking the basket. Not going to rise up and dunk on you, but Keyser just seems to glide to the basket and finish athletically in a way that not every guard can.

Nicholas had Wisconsin Hoops Select rolling in a big win over MN Lockdown on Saturday afternoon. He may have been the quickest player on the floor, and he used that to his advantage to repeatedly get downhill towards the rim. Found success finishing right at the rim, but was also doing a nice job of forcing the defense to collapse and then kicking it out to his open shooters. Defenders all game long just had a tough time staying in front of him off the dribble. Defensively he wasn’t giving up an inch of space to his man, and had one of the most impressive blocks of the day as he chased a guy down and swatted his shot off the backboard.

Keyser stood out when he helped lead his team past MN Lockdown on Saturday night. He was the quickest player on the floor with the ball in his hands, and was utilizing it to constantly get into the paint to make plays for himself and his teammates. Showed impressive body control just gliding to the rim at full speed and finishing around defenders. Had a stretch towards the end of the first half where he had a pair of finishes, an assist, and a blocked shot off the backboard that helped send his team into halftime leading by double-digits.
