He kept the ball high on finishes and had moments with a good back to the basket game. Smart tap outs to keep possessions alive on offense and great mobility as a rim protector were also ways he impacted the game. The potential for the lanky 7 footer to be a game changer at the rim is exceptional high, with a mix helpside and on the ball shot blocks.

At 6-foot-11-inches, Nick Gunter shows incredible potential as a skilled postman with good footwork down low alongside a potent face-up and back-to-the-basket style of play. He easily finishes above the rim with double handed slam dunks and has no trouble beating his man off the dribble with his first step or quick spin-off move. Gunter has also displayed flashes of brilliance as a passer at times with good court vision. On the defensive end, Nick consistently displays maximum effort, willing to guard anyone and defend the paint with authority. The Wyatt center doesn’t allow anything to come easy or uncontested, his timing and anticipation to block a jumper or an inside shot is one of his many skills that will translate to the college level.
