In the season opener, Liggins played with a great motor and athleticism. High pointing and grabbing contested rebounds. One such sequence saw him pitch it ahead, sprint down the floor and get it back for a great finish. Was similarly active as a leaper as a rim protector. Had a chase down block in transition and other good rim protection moments in the halfcourt. The raw athleticism he showed and energy he played with should make Liggins a prime candidate for development minded JuCo programs.
