About Nazir

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I would describe my game as versatile, I can play both guard positions very well and can shoot the 3 ball at a high efficiency. I base my game upon my defense as well, I am scrappy and pick up 94 feet throughout the whole game.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

As far as my mentality, I have a dog type of mentality. I like to win at all cost and like to see myself and my teammates get better. As far as my personality, I am a chill and laid back type of person. I’m a extremely likable and overall genuine.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am apart of the National Honor Society and have received various academic and educational awards such as the Principals List.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

My leadership is something I thrive on, I like to be a leader vocally and physically. My leadership translates over to my teamwork skills, I like to see everyone win whether it’s in basketball or not. As far as community service goes, I am a huge asset within my community. Giving back to my community and showing service within it, is something I will forever do and thrive upon.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

During my freshman year, I faced the adversity of getting treated poorly and being stagnated. This adversity/challenge made me make the crucial decision to transfer to Rosedale Christian Academy where I reclassed to the Class of 2027.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a D1 College where I can showcase my talents and assets at a high level and on a big stage.

It was nice to see the huge jump in confidence and skill from the junior guard Nazir Anderson Nazir Anderson Nazir Anderson 6'2" | CG/PG Perry Hall | 2027 State MD . Nazir was effective all day shooting the ball from range, burying some very deep 3’s by the showcase’s end. He remained confident through his misses which kept him effective through each scrimmage. I liked the way Nazir showed his ability to create his own on the ball without needing to spot up beyond the arc. It’s clear Nazir has been working on his game tirelessly over the year, I wouldn’t rule out another jump in progression.
