Nathaniel plays with a high level of fundamental footwork as a true big. He’ll naturally get quicker with 2 years left to go before college but his pace is certainly already there at the varsity level. In one sequence he challenged shooters shot to miss, d boarded, outletted quickly, and then trailed the ball at the top of the key to hit a 3 a couple feet bond the arc. Does a lot of textbook type of stuff. Screens and rolls consistently. Defensively used his length to pick off passes and contest shots in the paint. Bangs down low against same size and has the foot speed to effectively guard the perimeter. Overall was impressed with his sound fundamentals.

Has solid IQ as the main big man for an overall talented skilled team. Kept the ball high down low with patience retrieving it. Defensively challenges and contests down low using his frame to make offense change positioning. Stretches the defense out at times. Skilled to drive against smaller defenders coming from the arc. Runs the floor at nice rate in transition. Overall fills his role effectively and brings versatility to the court that can be a tough matchup.
