Terry showed flashes of really good potential at our freshman event back in August. Nate showed he is more than comfortable as a complimentary piece on a team with ball dominant players and that will serve him well as a young player on a veteran team at Marshall County. Terry may not be heard from a lot as a freshman but his name is one that should be filed away for future reference.

Nate had a strong showing with his ability to impact winning on both ends on Saturday. He may not have had one standout play in any game but Terry was consistently making high basketball IQ plays over the course of the day. He also looks like he has more growing to do and has a frame that support more bulk as he ages.

Nate was overshadowed by some shot heavy teammates in the 5 on 5 games but he did maximize the touches that he did get. Terry has the build that looks like he may be 6’4″ or taller in a couple of years. He’ll need to get stronger (don’t they all) but Nate could be a rotational piece this season as a shooting specialist at Marshall. He’s a name to track in the western part of Ky.
