Sloane is a big combo guard in the 2028 class who showed very good potential on the offensive side of the ball throughout the tournament. Sloane is a three-level scorer with good shot creation ability. He also showed flashes of being a playmaker and running the offense at times, especially in transition. Overall, Sloane was a very versatile player who played multiple positions as both a wing and an on-ball playmaker and had a very impressive weekend.

Sloane plays with extreme balance on both sides of the floor. The left-handed wing has a smooth jump shot and excels shooting it from beyond the perimeter. He’s got great footwork which he uses to get to his spots and shoot it over the top of his defenders. In addition to his scoring, Sloane rebounds the ball well and is a very solid defender.

A self assured and rather versatile scorer comfortable at getting to certain spots on the floor, Nate Sloane showed, in a variety of ways, his impact as an overall offensive threat— crashing the boards with purpose and creating second chance opportunities on the offensive glass, scoring the basketball with pace off the bounce in different PnR actions, as well as showcasing his perimeter shot making ability as a spot up shooter to be effective off the ball.
