The stellar point guard play of Best was a major reason the PA Royals went 4-0 and brought home the 17U division title. Best proved to be a poised and high IQ floor general who can score and distribute. From a scoring standpoint, Best can hit threes as well as mid-ranger jumpers and runners off the glass. He can also use his filthy handles to get all the way to the cup for lay-ins. When the help defense managed to cut off Best, he kicked out to shooters or dropped dimes to the dunker spot. In the transition game, Best’s decision making, and live dribble passing was impressive. At the other end of the court, Best’s active hands and quick lateral movements made him a plus defender.
