Expert Analysis
Adrian Maloney Jr | Prep Hoops Scout
The big man for conway springs seen alot of double teams last year when he has been in the post so he has expanded his game tremendously beyond the paint and to the 3pt line. Nash seems unstoppable if you let him catch it downlow on the block. He has the jump hook, up and under or he can just shoot it right over the top of you. One of the more underrated players in the state that has great instincts on the defenisve end when looking to contest and block shots.

The big man out of Conway springs Kansas has started off his senior year on the right note. With a recent offer from southwestern college and recent visits to friends university and Kansas Wesleyan, he kept that momentum pouring in roughly 17 points per game for team Indiana. The big man snagged all the rebounds and finished really well in the paint. He has shown that he can step out and shoot the 3 ball as well and space the floor.

Nash, recently picking up an offer from southwestern stands at 6’7″ and clogs up every bit of the paint that you can think of. Being a huge rim protector and contesting shots at the rim is what he’s best at. On the offensive end he knows how to get to his hook every time and finish over either shoulder. He has a great frame and nice shooting touch to work with going into his college season when it comes.

Johnsen showed a lot of selflessness and versatility at the Expo, teaming with Lawson. He played high post and fed the Bennington big man a lot of nice high-low passes for buckets. He’s long and powerful and plays hard. He hit some long jumpers working on the perimeter and rolled off some picks, demonstrating his expanding versatility.

Up 15 spots – Johnsen was the biggest riser in the class. After a solid sophomore season for a good Conway Springs team, he got great exposure with Kansas Team 2024. He demonstrated a lot of power in the paint, tough defense in the post, and a work ethic to run with a bunch of talented guards. Plays smart and is expanding his repertoire to include midrange jumpers.
