Tom Keller | Prep Hoops Scout
Farlow looks right at home with his new team and continues to showcase the well-rounded skill set that makes him such an intriguing prospect. The smooth-operating guard possesses imposing size on the perimeter and has the ability to score in a variety of ways, whether attacking the basket, pulling up in the mid-range, or creating offense within the flow of the game. One of his biggest strengths is his poise. When he gets into a rhythm, he can be extremely difficult to contain. His move to the class of 2028 only adds to his appeal from a recruiting standpoint, giving college coaches even more reason to monitor his development closely as his combination of size, skill, and feel for the game continues to trend upward.

Chipping in as a valuable two-way support piece in the win, Farlow showed continued signs of his impending emergence as a prospect. The rangy swingman contributed an efficient eight points, knocking down a pair of clean corner 3s to help establish an early West Catholic lead and knifing into the lane for a smooth lefty finish in traffic. He’ll be more effective within the confines of the halfcourt as he adds strength to his slender frame, but he showed some ability as a slasher and decisionmaker when attacking closeouts into space. Farlow also did a nice job using his length and quickness to bother Antoniacci into some difficult misses on the other end of the floor. He’s still not the most consistent with his output but Farlow’s plug-and-play ability should earn him a wide range of attention at the next level based on how his body continues to develop moving forward.

Farlow is a budding wing who looks like he will stretch out into his frame at any given second. He is silky smooth and has no issue slithering his way to different spots off the bounce. He lets the game come to him and really anticipates situations well. Hoping against hope he grows into his frame sooner rather than later. He connected on five three in a win over Colonia (NJ). He had a nose for finding ways to come up with steals. He is tracking as a scholarship prospect.
